Composed in (A-B-A) form i.e.the simple ternary form as most of chopin Nocturnes. The first section is in F major (Andante Cantabile), the second is In F minor A fast and dramatic Tempo (Con fuoco). Moderate in difficulty level¬ too much ornamented.
It was dedicated to Mr. Ferd. Hiller.
